Is there a Julien Donkey-Boy soundtrack CD?

I'm not sure if the soundtrack is something I would listen to seperately from the movie, but I'm still curious as to whether there is one or not?

I'm sure there is none. This doesnt meet up with the Dogme Manifesto, usually Dogme Films doesnt contain any Music at all, except for Live played things. JDB almost slipped through anyway cause of its usage of Music and its "fake pregnancy".

The Manifesto is not that "strict" though, it should be taken serious, but should be seen more as a guideline.

Thanks.

I think dogme is really stupid in some ways, i mean it's a great platform for making realist and minimalist films but i don't believe in rules when it comes to filmmaking...

I wrote a bunch of essays on Dogme and came to the conclusion that it was all just a 'joke' designed to help make films differently.

It generally helped to spark mistakism, didn't it?

thats what i was trying to say. they are no real rules, but ideas of how you should limit yourself.

it is widely known by now, and it was never intendent to be a law.

i'm not sure if it was van trier, but i think someone wanted a "confession" from korine, in which he describes in which way he "broke the rules".
for example; he connected a cd-player to the camcorder itself, and used music cd's that were only available at the house they shot. this was very uncommon in dogme films. he also said he tried to pregnant chloe sevigny for himself but it did not work out, so he had no choice but use a pillow.

just look up the credits to find out the songs you are looking for.
