The first story with the "girl" with big eyes got me hooked immediately.

Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy - I want to roll now like the good ol' days...
Enjoyable movie. Not as good as Trainspotting, of course, or The Acid House. But nevertheless, it was good.

Re-watched Dance Party USA, it's been a while since I've seen it. I definitely think its the best film of the entire 'mumblecore' genre, without a doubt. The last scene brings tears to my eyes. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.

KIller Joe - Pretty fucking dark, man. Great.
Ted - Shitty, apart from Flash Gordon who made me smile.
V/H/S - A lot of fun, got too drunk to see the last segment, but I was told it was the best.
The Campaign - Why do I keep going to terrible comedies? There's a nice bit of acting from Zach Galifinakis that lasts about ten seconds that made me want to see him in some dramas, but that's is about it.
Lemmy - Nice to see him with his son. A little too reverential, but it IS Lemmy, so there's that.
Nostalgia for the Light - Cant believe its on netflix streaming. Fantastic

Bully - Actually rewatched this twice, reluctantly. Good but no movie really stays good when watching it in quick succession.
Ted - Funny, the Family Guy references were some pretty unoriginal additions. Still though, Wahlberg has always been a favourite actor of mine in terms of "Hollywood" and I love him doing comedy.
House Of 1000 Corpses & The Devil's Rejects - Prefer Rejects just because its much more badass, but Corpses is almost as good - just pure scares.
The Avengers - Eh, okay for a superhero film.
The Nine Lives Of Fritz The Cat - Funny, and trippy, but the first was obviously much better.
Raiders Of The Shaolin Temple & Five Element Ninjas - Ever since I got into the Wu-Tang Clan I've been watching shit loads of kung fu films, these two are decent but not among my favourites.
A Bronx Tale - A little bit better than Goodfellas IMO, although I do prefer that stylistically.

With regards to VHS, does anyone know who directed which segments?

Just saw Compliance, just as compelling as I envisioned. The HDrip came out a few days ago.

To Die For - i always dismissed this because of the nicole kidman cover and because that stupid don henley song was in the trailer. i thought this was a van sant "puff piece" and never gave it a chance. but i was way wrong. i really liked it a lot. it made me giggle throughout, and casey affleck is great.

Silver Bullet - young corey haim in a wheelchair that runs on a go kart motor is the only one who can stop a terrible looking werewolf. this is so bad it's good, but the most baffling part is that the cinematography is absolutely stunning. there are a slew of 80's horror movies like this and it just boggles the mind. also, it's weird watching a young Haim knowing that he's a dead junkie now.
