as we know, milestone is supposedly finally releasing KILLER OF SHEEP in july....according to mastersofcinema.org, they will be releasing another old charles burnett film, MY BROTHER'S WEDDING before years end....

"As this article goes to press, [Charles] Burnett is in the final editing stages on what may be his most ambitious project to date — a biopic of Sam Nujoma, the first president of Namibia — and the folks at the invaluable Milestone Film & Video confirm that their long-standing project to issue both Killer of Sheep and My Brother’s Wedding on DVD should reach fruition by year’s end."

'Stella' season one is supposedly coming out on DVD this fall. Some/most of us already got the torrent file of it but this is intriguing, possibly it will spawn more seasons......

from: <a href="http://www.stellacomedy.com/index.php" target="_blank">http://www.stellacomedy.com/index.php</a>

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Thank you to all the fans for your lobbying and support. Perhaps Stella will return on TV in some other form in the future. We are currently working on DVD which will have the whole season and lots of cool extras. The DVD release (and possible touring) will be this fall. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The Werner Herzog "Documentaries and Shorts" Collection being sold on wernerherzog.com was released here in Australia last month by Shock DVD, the price is significantly less, that's the best part. I ordered it from atlanticdvd.com.au a few days ago for AU $140 and it arrived just today; for me there is a difference of AU $150 between the two.

It appears the DVDs included in the set are exactly the same as what you'd get if you ordered from wernerherzog.com. The discs are NTSC and region 0. They are also without any additions like an Australian copyright warning at the beginning or an advertisement for the distributor here. The covers are also without the Australian rating or anything like that, they're just the same as what wernerherzog.com sells. The boxset cover is a little different. There is a strip at the top that says "Distinction Series" and below in the corner there is a small E indicating that the films are exempt from rating. A small logo for Shock DVD also appears on the back, but other than that it is all the same as what is sold on the Herzog site.

The Films of Kenneth Anger: Volume 1.

It says the 28th of November on Amazon but according to this place here it's scheduled to come out in late January now.

The Conformist is coming out in December too and it's only ten dollars. 1900 is out the same time as well but I'm not sure whether that's complete.

Saturday Night Live - First Season

DVDPlanet.com is having a 20% Off Sale at the moment. The code for it is 20OFFSALE. I think it ends in the next three or four days.

well Boogie, you will be pleased to know it says there "Sous-titrage : Anglais" which means English subtitles. I believe March 20 is the date but who knows for sure.
