Call to filmmakers for submissions for screening night

hey, i'm starting up a new screening night in london next month, and hopefully it's gonna be a monthly thing - 4ish hours of films then some music and stuff, a few games and random stage acts to break up the screenings too.

this is gonna be a massive amount of work, getting four hours of films a month that i'm allowed to screen. i'm thinking 1 hour of shorts of up to 10 minutes, one 20 minute or so film, one 30-45 minute film and one feature. i don't want to screen any crap, i want this to be a really good night for good filmmakers to get their stuff shown to an interested audience, since there isn't really that sort of a night in existence in london at the minute. i'm hoping there's enough material out there to support it. i think there should be.

so, does anyone have anything they want to submit for screening? i can't pay you, but can guarantee you your film will be projected onto a fair sized screen and seen by a receptive audience, and if you want me to promote your production company or website or blog or whatever in the programme alongside your listing, that's fine and welcomed. you can get in touch with me by PM, or there's a myspace for the film night - http://www.myspace.com/thepicturesnight

I'm about to begin my second year at film school in a few weeks. I'll try to let others on the course know about this, some will surely be interested. Depending on what I produce this year I would probably be interested in submitting too, but we will see how things go!

I've been a lurker here for a while but this thread persuaded me to sign up
I've made a few films, both short and long. If you want, I could post them to you on DVD and see what you think of them. It'd be great to have them shown somewhere. If you don't like them it's no problem, I don't mind.
